We live this life, as five black women everyday. A mother and daughter team. Built on love, gratitude, artistry and the spirit of “doing for self.” We will never turn a blind eye to the struggles of our people. We can’t. To the senseless deaths, the horrid violence and trauma that is placed upon our communities, we’ve had to always bear witness. WE are doing our best to stay centered while processing the chaos. But it is far from easy. All of our customers are like extended family.
We see you, we hear you, we love you, we are YOU. While we seek justice for George Floyd and countless other black men and boys, please remember the black women and girls that are also murdered from white supremacy as well. Lift them up and call out their names as well.
