FOUNDER, OWNER & LEAD DESIGNER - Shukuru Bilal
Shukuru Bilal, is an apprenticed, self-taught emerging designer. Inspired by love and gratitude for nature’s beauty. Designing for over 30 years and is honored to be considered a “celebrity” in the African- American Muslim community. Shukuru and her husband Hakim Bilal, along with her models; showcased nationally, from Atlanta to New York to Los Angeles. The family legacy continues anew with their four daughters.

Na’Aisha MalikaB is part-owner, content writer and junior designer for Shukuru Couture and is also an Agnes Scott College Alumna like her 3 sisters. She divides her time between her luxury skincare business, being a prenatal doula, a busy mother and family matriarch. She adores botany, fashion, traveling and poetry. Na’aisha sees the legacy of Shukuru Couture as a birthright and sacred privilege; that adds expansion and more energy to her mother’s dreams.
WEB/BUSINESS DEV & PART OWNER — Summiyah A
Summiyah Austin Siddeeq, Web Manager, is a St. Louis native and an Atlanta based technology professional. Using technology and innovation to inspire youth is her primary passion. This passion has taken her across the African diaspora to conferences and working with young adult mentees in Rwanda, Haiti, and Jamaica. She is truly inspired and honored to be apart of her families commitment to legacy and business.

Part owner of Shukuru Couture Fatimah Hunter is Agnes Scott Alumna, wife, mother to son Adam, fashion & shoe lover, and serial entrepreneur. Fatimah is honored to continue the beautiful legacy of her mother’s fashion brand.
OPERATIONS MANAGER & PART OWNER - Khadijah Austin
Khadijah Austin has over nine years experience in nonprofit management. As Executive Assistant to Tarana Burke and ‘me too.’ International, she manages everyday operations. A St. Louis Native, middle child of 5 children and graduate of Agnes Scott, an all women’s Liberal Arts College in Decatur, GA,. Khadijah also moonlights as the operations officer for Shukuru Couture.
