Inspired by Nature
Sometimes we can get stuck..stuck in our heads about what to do next and how to proceed. It's not always so easy to get out of. I've found one of the best ways to overcome this "cloud" is to get out and see some real clouds! Yes, nature can be so awe inspiring. So, now we decide to get out and get some nature and then find ourselves back in the same situation. Well, push repeat and pause...and take in the beauty of nature. Just quiet your mind and be still for at least 15 minutes. Trust me, it works!
Fall is upon us now and is typically seen as a reflective period. It's a time to reflect on our lives as the winter is soon to set in. So gather your thoughts like a squirrel gathering nuts to store for winter and get your journal out. Writing is a way to chronicle and release your thoughts as needed and helps you keep track of where you are going and where you've been. Don't let those thoughts of how, if only, and why, have you stuck. Write them down daily and make a task list and mark those items off daily after completion. And writing while out observing nature can be especially healing and revealing. Daily nature walks also help us to connect with ourselves as we experience the changes of the season. From hot sunny days, cool brisk fall walks, to snow trekking walks and rainy spring walks. All of these seasons can bring about a sense of wonderment and joy, just by observing the creation and it's ever changing splendor. Change is a constant. Allow nature to help you get "unstuck."
